We are excited to share the recent update to our website. The Enable New Zealand team are regularly seeking feedback to ensure we're developing our services in the right way. Recent feedback told us that documents were hard to find on our website, and that it could be hard to navigate.
Today we celebrated the successful transition of our website onto a new platform. Frequent visitors may note the change from http to https. This transition will allow us to take a serious look at our website navigation and explore other opportunities for continuous improvement.
New document library
The new platform has enabled us to create a one-stop-shop for all the documents on our website. We can now ensure there is only one version of any document on our site, so any document on our website will always be the latest version.
You can search the library using a normal keyword search, but you now have even more functionality through a topic and/or type search. This means even if you don’t know the name of the document you're looking for, you could use topic 'Equipment' and type 'Form' to find every equipment form available for you on our website.
Online app hub
Our new online app hub gives you a single-view of all our online applications. From this page you can head to any of our seven apps, see what their status is, and log issues or new users.
News and contact pages
You’ll notice our news page has had a small design refresh, but the star of the show is our updated contact forms. From the Contact Us page, you can navigate directly to the contact form you need, or submit a ‘General request’ form without the need for all that additional detail. We’re continuously improving to ensure our website goes above and beyond accessibility standards, simplifying forms is just one way we’re working to make that happen.
