As New Zealand's largest disability equipment and services provider, Enable New Zealand asks a lot of our delivery partner. Each month we collect and deliver over 9,000 items of equipment, from the very large and complex to smaller items.
We're pleased to share that following a highly competitive procurement process, our incumbent partner Fliway has now been reconfirmed as our delivery partner for the next three years.
"It was essential that we find a partner we could trust to provide quality support to our sometimes very vulnerable disability community." says Jane Wenman, Enable New Zealand Chief Operations Officer.
"Our delivery services don't always stop at the doorstep. With the size or complexity of the equipment, in many instances, our freight partner needs to respectfully enter our customer's homes."
"We were looking for a full-service partner who are able to collect, deliver and in some cases install or pack up our equipment. In this case, Fliway shone through with their commitment to delivering a quality service to our disability community."
Lead by global consulting firm Corporate Value Associates, the procurement process called on the knowledge and expertise of clinical and operations subject matter experts from across Enable New Zealand.
A key feature of the new partnership is a collaborative continuous improvement plan. This development in the delivery contract ensures both Fliway and Enable teams can discover new opportunities to develop customer-centred services.
With more than 110,000 pieces of equipment moved across Aotearoa last year, an effective delivery partnership makes a huge impact for New Zealanders.
"Fliway has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Enable and are excited to, once again, be appointed as lead provider of nationwide equipment collection and delivery services." says Kim Chamley, General Manager for Fliway Domestic.
"Working closely with the Enable team over the years has helped us develop and refine solutions specifically for Enable’s customers. We are particularly proud that the value we bring to supporting disabled people and their whanau was recognised throughout a robust, competitive tender process."
"We value our partnership highly and look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional service to Enable and the disability community in the coming years."
