Request review of hearing aid decision

Unhappy with a decision we’ve made about a hearing aid request? You can ask for a review up to 3 months after the decision.

First or second reviews of decisions we have made about hearing aid subsidy claims or funding applications.

Who can ask for a review

The hearing aid assessor (audiologist or audiometrist), customer, or audiology provider can ask for a review of decision.

Timeframe

The request must be made within 3 months of our decision.

How to request a review

You can request a review by emailing hearing@enable.co.nz and providing supporting information.

Second reviews

If you are unhappy with the outcome of the first review, you can ask for a second review. Email the reasons for your request to hearing@enable.co.nz

The Environmental Support Services (ESS) review panel will review your request.
