At level 2 of this credential you may assess people who need any of the following to drive a vehicle safely:
pedal modifications
modifications to secondary controls
a cognitive function or on-road assessment to determine safety to drive.
Completing an optional module (Drive from wheelchair or joystick technology) allows you to assess people who may need any of the following:
a ramp hoist or other vehicle adaptation to access the vehicle while seated in a wheelchair
a wheelchair docking system
a swing away back support
custom lateral supports
joystick technology.

Occupational therapists who hold a level 1 credential in vehicle purchase and modifications can apply for this credential.
