About Rachel Tatham

Rachel has been part of Enable New Zealand’s Clinical Advisory Services Team since 2004, initially as a team member and for the past 14 years in managerial roles. Rachel has 34 years’ experience in Occupational Therapy, having worked in a range of areas including mental health, hospital-based settings, and community work with all ages, both in Aotearoa and the UK.  Rachel has specialist expertise across a wide range of high and complex situations, joint funding, and challenging behavior. She is experienced in policy frameworks across the allied health discipline and is passionate about ongoing education for herself and others. A key focus for her is relationship management and networking with professional bodies and clinical groups.   

During her time at Enable New Zealand, she has presented to a range of EMS assessors and clinical leaders. Currently, she is the contracts relationships manager for the EMS contract, Spectacle subsidy contract, hearing aid service and long term support service-chronic health conditions contract.

She has in the past written articles for OT insights.

Rachel has been the convener of an OT conference in 2008 and a committee member of OT workshops in 2013.
