Community services to support disabled and aging populations
Enable New Zealand’s flagship Easie Living Store provides services for people who need support to live independently and engage in community activities.
These services are captured in our brand known as EASIE Living: Equipment, Advice, Services, Information, and Education.
The Easie Living Store is located at 585 Main Street, Palmerston North. It comprises:
a disability information service (in-house and mobile)
a retail store
a conference room
an accessible show home, and
a learning and demonstration space.
A new approach
Launched in February 2016, the Easie Living Store is the first of its kind for New Zealand. This innovative approach to providing services is made possible only by leveraging off our expertise, knowledge, and sector linkages.
In May 2016, we won the New Zealand Federation of Disability Information Centres’ ‘Centre of the Year’ for our Easie Living Store.
We continue to receive tremendous support from the local community.

Our online store
If you're not able to get government funding for equipment you need, you can buy it through our online store. Our buying power and relationships with suppliers mean we can offer affordable prices.
This is a self-funded option and you'll need to pay for it yourself when you place your order.
You can also explore other funding options like Lottery grants. Check these out on Firstport.
