Delays in equipment delivery and collection
Enable New Zealand’s operations, like those of many other businesses and organisations throughout New Zealand, have been significantly impacted by the current Omicron outbreak.
We are currently experiencing delays in equipment delivery and collection as Fliway Transport and Post Haste Couriers, our freight partners, are impacted by a perfect storm of high volumes in their freight network and high rates of absenteeism due to COVID-19.
Our equipment suppliers, who directly dispatch some equipment items and also arrange collection of some trial equipment, are also experiencing delays with the couriers and freight companies they use.
We want to reassure you that we’re doing all we can to minimise this impact and ensure we continue providing people with the equipment they need.
If you or your clients are expecting a delivery or collection and haven’t heard from anyone within 10 working days of the request, please check the Fliway or Post Haste websites for the latest information on any delays they are experiencing. Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 362 253 and we will investigate this for you.
If you are based in or near Hamilton, Palmerston North, or Christchurch and you have smaller items that you or a support person can return yourselves, you can drop these in to one of our warehouses directly.

Your local DHB hospital or health centre may also accept equipment for us to collect from there.
