Enable New Zealand governance

How Enable New Zealand is governed

Enable New Zealand is governed by the MidCentral District Health Board (MidCentral DHB), a Crown entity. We report on operational and strategic matters to the Board through either the Finance, Risk & Audit (FRAC) Committee, or the Health & Disability Advisory (HDAC) Committee , depending on the subject matter. Our General Manager is a member of the MidCentral DHB Executive Leadership Team.

We report to MidCentral DHB Board

As an operating division of MidCentral DHB, Enable New Zealand is accountable to the public and the Crown. We undergo annual external financial auditing by the Office of the Auditor General, and take part in the internal audit processes required of all District Health Boards.

We operate under MidCentral DHB Board (the Board) delegations and policies and are accountable to the Board through the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
